about

known unknown, aka Sean Ray, has been around the block a few times. Music producer, radio host and DJ showcasing his sounds all over the globe. We were first introduced to his music when he was sending promos and demos to us with the legendary Chez Demier. Correspondence continued when “But I’m Feeling Better Now” arrived and would make its way on the Fade Records compilation The Next We. The more we got to know Sean, the more we connected and aligned with his musical ethos. The plan hatched to make an EP release once we heard the track “Entheogen”. Sean sent over two more tracks to round out this EP. “Entheogen” anchors on an ethereal vocal piece that is haunting and captivating, pushed along with an energetic Italo styled bassline. “Sixteen Fires” follows with another infectious and pumping peak time track with a transcendental vocal of its own. Finishing off this release is “Dripping” that harkens back to vibes of early 2000’s Twilo darkness. Proud to offer our first release of 2024, with more to come….
