With the release of my artist album As Long As The Moment Exists, we quickly moved to put together a remix package. I had wishlist of artists and producers I was playing their records out, admired their work. Some that I had personal relationship, some I did not. Myself and the team at EQ went to work reaching out to the list not fully expecting everyone to be on board. But to our surprise, so many came back with Yes. So many of these artists have gone on to bigger and better things, and still important figures in our underground movement. Very proud of this collection.

We had previously released them as individual EPs, but for the first time, exclusively on Bandcamp, we are putting into one collective set.

We have even remixed the artwork courtesy of our long time designer Ben Mautner [DROP]

ALBUM REMIX PROJECT – INFO RELEASE #1 February 18, 2008 – For Immediate Release!
Chris Fortier’s critically acclaimed debut artist album “As Long as the Moment Exists” gets the make over remix treatment by some of Chris’ all time musical heroes alongside his favourite new artists.
“I am proud to re-invigorate my debut artist album with new, fresh interpretations by some of the coolest producers around. This project will consist of a series of EP releases culminating LP/CD release collection.” Chris Fortier
The first set of EPs from this special remix project will come out March of this year, with several EPs to be released following that. This is a stunning collection of remixes and musical visions.
The list of artists involved reads like a roll call of underground music’s who’s who; past, present and future.
